I am shopping for a bath mat but I am stuck here at work, so naturally I am googling any and all houseware stores in Manhattan. I have walked by Muji many times and been interested by their minimilast and very Japanese aesthetic but never gone in, but their website is really killen' em...







I could easily blow a couple hundred on bento boxes alone after seeing this dainty demonstration.

I recently received a somehwat confusing email about this line of shoes that was starting up, but not yet available with a link to the website. The shoes, by a line called Marais, were very simple and chic and kind of what I think most girls are looking for these days. The amazing thing is the prices! They are under $100.00!?!?!? So then today I get an email that now the shoes are up and available for sale, and the website features little videos and snap shots of the designers and models playing in the park. It's all very cute.... just way too cute!

Also the tone of the descriptions seem really honest, like they're your old pal just telling you how it is "We strongly recommend breaking in your patent styles with socks or tights for the first couple of days...I wore my Mulberry Maryjanes with socks the first two times and I never got a blister any time after. As with any other suede shoes, avoid wearing them in the rain. "

When you want to buy something online
google "x" discounts and there will be tons of sites that pop up with promo codes

i.e. I ordered some shoes from urban outfitters today and then I googled urban outfitters discounts and I found a promo code that gave me 15% off. With a little determination, you can find a promo code for almost anything that you buy from the internets.

All my Friends

I told my sister I would interrupt the time I allocate to online shopping at work for clothes for myself to online shop for things for our apartment. We only have 3 chairs and we have like, 4 friends, combined. I've invited all of them over next week and instead of chairs, here is what I've found:

Wise Words Gossip Girl

My thing about going to the gym is that I leave my bracelets on, and I put on my makeup the way I would do it in real life, and I wear cute clothes, because if I don't feel good when I leave the house, then I'm not motivated to do it. I need to like how I look while I'm doing it.

As dumb as this sounds, I agree with Taylor/Jenni about liking what you wear when you work out. I just found this adorable athletic attire* website Hari and I want all of these outfits as I'm doing my jazz pilates DVD by my favorite new fitness personality (and Gwyneth's) Tracy "Jazz Arm" Anderson.
